You build the relationships at both ends of every lot: the registered recyclers we supply, and the EV makers, importers and fleets the batteries come from.

What you'll do

  • Build and manage supply relationships with CPCB-registered recyclers: specifications, pricing, payment terms and dispatch schedules.
  • Turn each recycler's acceptance criteria into a written specification the yard can seal lots against.
  • Track the market: rates, which chemistries are in demand, and who is adding processing capacity.
  • Build relationships with EV makers, importers and fleet operators, as sources of batteries and as partners on their obligations under the Battery Waste Management Rules.
  • Represent Optimite Energy with industry bodies and at events.

What you'll bring

  • Seven or more years in B2B sales, sourcing or partnerships in batteries, metals, recycling, EVs or automotive.
  • A working network among recyclers, battery makers or EV companies.
  • Commercial judgement: you know what a deal is worth before you sign it.
  • Clear writing and strong negotiation in English and Hindi.

Good to have

  • Working knowledge of the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022 and EPR.
