EV makers and importers

Returns from every dealer, collected on one schedule.

Packs come back through your dealers and service centres on replacement, under warranty and at end of life. We collect them from each site, record every pack, and route it to CPCB-registered recyclers only.

The situation

Packs come back to your network a few at a time: a replacement at one dealer, a warranty claim at a service centre, a pack at end of life somewhere else. Each site deals with them its own way, and some end up with whoever buys scrap locally.

As a producer you also carry obligations under the Battery Waste Management Rules for the batteries you place on the market. A take-back route that records every pack makes both of those easier.

A sample view across a network's sites. Illustrative data.

  1. 01Every site on a schedule

We agree the dealers and service centres, how often we call at each, and who signs at handover.

  2. 02A manifest per site

Every pack stickered and weighed at the site, with a photo of the scale, and listed on a manifest signed there.

  3. 03One view of the network

On request, every pack collected across your sites, with its source, weight and where it went.

  4. 04Registered recyclers only

Your packs go to CPCB-registered recyclers and nowhere else.

How a programme starts

From the first call to a regular route. You tell us where the packs are; we do the running.

  1. 01. A call

Your sites, the vehicles and chemistries involved, and roughly how many packs come out each month.

  2. 02. A site list and a schedule

Which locations, how often, and who signs at each handover.

  3. 03. A first pickup

Weighed, stickered and paid, with a signed manifest of every pack collected.

  4. 04. A regular route

Once the first pickups run clean, your sites join a regular route.

Your obligations

If you place batteries on the Indian market, you carry obligations under the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022. Our records show where each of your packs went. EPR certificates are generated by registered recyclers and refurbishers, not by collectors, and we'll say so plainly rather than imply otherwise.

The rules, explained

Questions fleets ask

Can you collect from our dealers across the corridor?
Yes, across western Uttar Pradesh and the NCR, from our first yard in Ghaziabad. We agree the sites and a schedule for each.
Do you take packs that failed under warranty?
Yes, by arrangement. Every pack is graded on condition at pickup; swollen or damaged packs are handled separately and never enter a lot.
Do you issue EPR certificates?
No. Under the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022, EPR certificates are generated by registered recyclers and refurbishers. Our records show the source and destination of every pack.
How are we paid?
At rates per chemistry agreed upfront, against the weight recorded at each site, with a GST invoice.
